Run an interview debrief that ends in a clear hiring decision
A structured panel debrief plan that consolidates scorecards, reduces bias, and produces a documented hire or no-hire decision.
The prompt
Help me run an interview debrief for a candidate.
Role and the competencies we assessed: [LIST]
Interviewers and what each covered: [NAME/ROLE - competency]
Scorecard ratings and notes: [PASTE each interviewer's feedback]
Other candidates in play: [optional]
Decision-maker: [WHO]
Do the following:
1. Summarize the evidence by competency in a table: Competency | Interviewer | Rating | Key evidence | Concerns.
2. Point out where interviewers disagree, where feedback is vague ("great energy", "not a culture fit") and lacks evidence, and any competency nobody actually tested.
3. Draft a 30-minute debrief agenda: ratings submitted independently before discussion, the most junior voice speaks first, discuss evidence per competency, decision-maker decides.
4. Give me neutral facilitator lines to redirect bias in the room (e.g. similarity bias, halo effect, "culture fit" with no definition).
5. Write a short decision record: decision, reasons tied to competencies, risks, and next step (offer, another interview, or decline).
Don't make the decision for us; show what the evidence supports. Base everything only on the feedback I've pasted.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
