Run an end-of-onboarding review with a new hire at 90 days
An agenda, questions, goal-by-goal assessment, and written summary to close out onboarding fairly and set the next quarter.
The prompt
Help me prepare and run a 90-day review with a new team member to close out their onboarding. This is step 4 of the 'Onboard a new hire' pack; paste the 30-60-90 goals from step 2 so we can review against them.
Role and start date: [DETAILS]
Goals set at the start: [PASTE, or summarize]
Evidence of progress: [what they've delivered, with examples]
Feedback from others: [SUMMARY]
My concerns, if any: [DETAILS]
Is this also a formal probation decision? [yes / no]
Step 2 output (optional): [PASTE]
Return:
1. A 45-minute agenda that starts with their view, then mine.
2. 6 questions about their onboarding experience: what's still unclear and what they'd change for the next hire.
3. My assessment against each goal (met / partly / not yet) with specific examples. Use [ADD EXAMPLE] where I haven't given one; don't invent evidence.
4. Goals for the next quarter and one development focus.
5. A short written summary to send after the meeting.
6. If there are serious concerns or this is a probation decision: how to raise them clearly and fairly, what to document, and a reminder to involve HR and check local employment rules before deciding.
7. 3-5 improvements to our onboarding process based on what this hire experienced.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
