In Gemini

- If a detail is off, reply with one specific fix, for example “keep my face exactly the same, only change the background”.

How do you keep your face the same in AI photo edits?
Results are best when the photo is clear, well lit and taken from the front, with faces at least a few hundred pixels wide. Say explicitly what must not change: “keep my face, skin tone and features exactly the same; do not beautify or change age”. Every prompt here already includes that line. Describe one change at a time; asking for a new outfit, background, lighting and pose at once makes the model more likely to drift. If a face changes, reply with the correction rather than starting again, and if it keeps drifting, try a different, sharper photo. For group photos, mention how many people there are and that none should be added or removed.
