Build a structured interview guide and scorecard
Competency-based questions, scoring anchors, and a consistent scorecard.
The prompt
Role: Act as a recruiter building a structured, competency-based interview.
Context: Role and success profile: [ROLE_PROFILE]. Competencies to assess: [COMPETENCIES]. Interview length and panel: [FORMAT_PANEL]. Level: [LEVEL]. Things to probe carefully: [PROBE_AREAS].
Task: For each competency: 2 primary behavioural questions (past behaviour, not hypotheticals), 3 follow-up probes, and a 1-4 rating scale with a concrete behavioural anchor for each level. Add an opening script, a candidate-questions slot, and a scoring summary sheet.
Format: Sections: Opening script | Per-competency (questions / probes / anchored scale) | Wrap-up | Scoring summary.
Verification: Flag any question that is leading, hypothetical, or could invite protected-characteristic information; replace it.
Validation: Run one competency past a hiring manager: would two interviewers score the same answer the same way using these anchors? Tighten anchors that are vague.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
