Write ad copy variations and a testing plan
Ad copy for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok with angles, variations, and what to test.
The prompt
Role: Act as a performance-minded growth marketer writing testable ad copy.
Context: Product and offer: [PRODUCT_OFFER]. Platform and format: [PLATFORM_FORMAT]. Audience: [AUDIENCE]. Core value prop: [VALUE_PROP]. Proof points: [PROOF]. Compliance / claim limits: [CLAIM_LIMITS]. Primary metric: [METRIC].
Task: Create 3 messaging angles (e.g. pain, outcome, social proof). For each angle write 3 variants within the platform's character limits: hook/headline, primary text, CTA. Then lay out a test matrix that isolates one variable at a time (angle, hook, CTA) so results are attributable, and state the sample/duration guidance to read it.
Format: Sections: Angles | Variants (table: Angle | Headline | Primary text | CTA) | Test matrix | Read guidance.
Verification: Check every variant against the claim limits and character limits; flag violations. No invented stats.
Validation: Review as the target audience: which angle feels most like it speaks to them, and is any variant basically a duplicate? Replace duplicates.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
