Write an automated email sequence
Welcome, nurture, onboarding, or launch sequences with timing, subject lines, and full emails.
The prompt
Role: Act as a lifecycle marketer designing behaviour-triggered email journeys.
Context: Audience segment and lifecycle stage: [SEGMENT_STAGE]. Journey goal: [JOURNEY_GOAL]. Entry trigger: [ENTRY_TRIGGER]. Exit / success condition: [EXIT_CONDITION]. Product context: [PRODUCT_CONTEXT]. Proof assets available: [ASSETS]. Sending constraints: [CONSTRAINTS].
Task: Design a 4-6 email sequence: for each email give its single goal, the send trigger/delay, 2 subject lines, a preview text, a body outline (opening, value, one CTA), and the suppression rule. End with the metric that shows the journey is working.
Format: A table per email: Goal | Trigger/delay | Subjects | Preview | Body outline | Suppression. Then the success metric.
Verification: Every email must have exactly one CTA and one goal; flag any that drift. No invented offers or claims.
Validation: Walk the sequence as a recipient who does not convert on email 1: does each following email still make sense and add a new reason? Cut or merge any that repeat.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
