Write a follow-up sequence for candidates who haven't replied
A 3-4 touch follow-up cadence for silent candidates that adds new value each time and ends gracefully.
The prompt
Write a follow-up sequence for candidates who didn't reply to my first outreach.
Role: [TITLE and LEVEL]
My first message: [PASTE IT]
New things I can mention: [e.g. pay range, hiring manager's background, team news, a blog post or video, flexible schedule]
Channels available: [LinkedIn / email / phone / text]
Candidate type: [e.g. senior engineers, nurses, sales reps]
Build a sequence of 3-4 follow-ups:
- For each: the day to send (counting from the first message), the channel, a subject line, and the message.
- Each touch must add something new (a fact, a different angle, a referral ask) - never just "bumping this up".
- Keep each under 75 words.
- The last message is a polite close-out that leaves the door open and asks whether they know someone else who might fit.
Also give me:
- 2 short replies for common responses: "not looking right now" and "what's the salary?"
- When to stop: don't contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted, and respect any opt-out or data-privacy rules that apply where the candidate lives (e.g. GDPR).
Don't invent company facts; mark gaps as [ADD DETAIL].
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
