Plan a discovery call
Call objectives, an agenda, and a question bank to uncover needs, impact, and buying process.
The prompt
Role: Act as a consultative account manager preparing for a first discovery call.
Context: Account: [COMPANY]. Who is on the call: [ATTENDEES]. Why they took the meeting: [MEETING_REASON]. What we sell: [PRODUCT_OR_SERVICE]. My hypotheses about their situation: [HYPOTHESES]. Qualification framework: [FRAMEWORK].
Task: Build a discovery plan: a one-line objective, 3 hypotheses to test, a question bank grouped by current state / problems & impact / decision process / success criteria (prioritised, most important first), likely objections with a response, and two possible next steps to propose.
Format: Sections: Objective | Hypotheses | Question bank (grouped, numbered) | Objections & responses | Proposed next steps. ~450 words.
Verification: Keep questions open and non-leading; flag any that presume our solution is already the answer.
Validation: Check the plan against a 30-minute call: is it realistically coverable, and would the answers actually let me qualify in or out? Cut the lowest-value questions if not.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
