The prompt

Help me understand my 360-degree feedback and decide what to do with it. My role and context: [ROLE, team size, what has been happening this year] Report summary: [paste scores by rater group, highest and lowest items, and the written comments, with names removed] My self-ratings: [IF INCLUDED] My first reaction: [what surprised, stung, or felt unfair] My goals for the next year: [DETAILS] Work through it with me: 1. Patterns, not single comments: themes that appear across several raters or groups, separated from one-off remarks. 2. Gaps between groups: where my manager, peers, and direct reports see me differently, and what that might mean. 3. Blind spots and hidden strengths: where others rate me lower or higher than I rate myself. 4. Strengths to keep using and how they may be overused. 5. The 1-2 areas worth working on, chosen for impact on my goals, not just the lowest scores. 6. Questions to ask to understand the feedback better, and how to thank raters and share my focus areas without trying to identify who said what. 7. A 90-day development plan: specific behaviors to practice, how I will get ongoing feedback, and how I will know it is working. Be honest but balanced. If a comment seems unfair, help me look for any useful signal in it before dismissing it.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
