The prompt

Help me find the parts of my work that create stress and mental load that don't need to be there. I'm not asking how to do less work overall - I want to find the strain that comes from how the work is set up. My role and main responsibilities: [DETAILS] My workload: [PASTE TASKS, PROJECTS, RECURRING DUTIES, AND DEADLINES] What feels stressful and when: [e.g. "Monday reporting crunch", "last-minute requests from leadership"] Things I keep track of in my head: [e.g. "who owes me what", "which version is current", "promises I made in meetings"] What I can and can't change: [e.g. "can't change client deadlines", "can propose process changes"] Check for avoidable sources of pressure and mental load, such as: - unclear priorities or conflicting requests from different people - last-minute work caused by late inputs upstream - rework from vague briefs or changing requirements - tracking commitments in my head instead of a system - too many open loops and half-finished tasks - decisions I keep re-making because no rule or default exists - approvals and handoffs that stall work - recurring tasks rebuilt from scratch each time Return: 1. Pressure map: | Source | Necessary or avoidable | Effect on me | Root cause | Who could fix it | 2. Top 5 avoidable sources, ranked by how much relief removing each would bring. 3. Fix for each: a concrete change (a system, template, rule, or agreement), who I'd need to talk to, and a first step for this week. 4. Necessary pressure: what is simply part of the job, with ways to make it easier to carry (preparation, buffers, checklists). 5. A short message I could use to raise the biggest issue with my manager, framed around the fix, not the complaint. Base everything on what I've shared and label assumptions. If what I describe sounds like burnout (constant exhaustion, dread, numbness, health effects), say so plainly and suggest I talk to my manager, HR, an employee assistance program, or a doctor.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
