Design a leadership team offsite that ends in real decisions
An offsite agenda with pre-work, sessions, facilitation notes, and a decision log so the time produces outcomes.
The prompt
Help me design an offsite for my leadership team.
Team: [NUMBER of people and roles]
Length and setting: [e.g. "1.5 days, in person"]
Why now: [e.g. "annual planning", "team isn't aligned on strategy", "new leaders joined"]
Decisions we must leave with: [SPECIFIC decisions]
Tensions or unspoken issues: [e.g. "sales and product disagree on roadmap", "trust is low between two leaders"]
Facilitator: [me / a leader / external]
Design:
1. Pre-work: what each person prepares and reads, due a week before, so no time is spent presenting status.
2. Agenda: sessions with time, goal, format (discussion, exercise, decision), and the output each session produces. Balance hard business decisions with time on how we work together.
3. Facilitation notes for the two hardest sessions: opening questions, how to surface disagreement, and how to close on a decision.
4. Decision method: how we'll decide when we don't agree (who has the final call, and "disagree and commit").
5. A decision and action log template: Decision | Owner | Deadline | How we'll communicate it.
6. Follow-through: what gets shared with the company and when, and the 30-day check-in.
If I'm both CEO and facilitator, warn me where that will suppress candor and suggest ways around it.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
