Cut my resume down to one page
Shortens a long resume to one page by keeping what matters most for the target role and tightening every line.
The prompt
Shorten my resume to one page without losing what matters.
Target role: [ROLE]
Job description (optional): [PASTE]
My current resume: [PASTE]
Task:
1. Rank every section and bullet by relevance to the target role.
2. Remove or merge low-value lines (old roles, generic duties, repeated skills), and explain each cut in a few words.
3. Tighten wording so most bullets fit on one line.
4. Keep the strongest achievements and any numbers.
5. Output the final one-page version, then a short list of what was removed so I can put anything back.
Rules: don't change facts, dates or job titles; don't add anything new.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
