Write or overhaul my resume
Turns your experience into an achievement-focused, ATS-friendly resume.
The prompt
Help me write (or overhaul) my resume.
Target roles: [JOB TITLES, industry, level]
My current resume or work history: [PASTE — include roles, dates, responsibilities, and any results you remember]
Achievements I'm proud of (numbers if possible): [LIST]
Country/format: [e.g. US one-page resume, UK CV, European CV]
Do this:
1. Critique my current resume: the 5 biggest problems for my target roles.
2. Rewrite it: a short profile, skills section aligned to the target roles, and experience bullets in "Action + what + result" format with numbers where I've given them.
3. Keep it ATS-friendly: standard headings, no tables or graphics, relevant keywords used naturally.
4. Suggest what to cut or shorten.
Never invent achievements, metrics, titles, or dates. Where a bullet needs a number I didn't give, write [ADD METRIC] so I can fill it in honestly.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
