The prompt

Turn my episode transcript into publish-ready show notes. This is step 3 of a podcast launch pack; it works on its own, and the output feeds the promotion plan in step 4. Show name: [NAME] Episode number and guest (if any): [DETAILS] Who the show is for: [TARGET LISTENER] Links to include: [guest links, resources mentioned, my CTA link] Transcript (with timestamps if available): [PASTE] Return: 1. Title options (5): under 70 characters, lead with the outcome or the most surprising point, use words people search for. No clickbait the episode doesn't deliver. 2. Directory description (150-300 words): the first 2 lines must work as a standalone hook since apps truncate. Then what listeners will learn, who the guest is, and the CTA. 3. Chapters: timestamped, each labeled with what happens, not "Part 2". Only if timestamps are in the transcript; otherwise give section labels and tell me to add times. 4. Key takeaways: 5 bullets, each specific enough to be useful on its own. 5. Resources mentioned: only things actually named in the transcript, with [ADD LINK] placeholders. 6. Best quotes (3): exact wording from the transcript, with timestamps, for social clips. Rules: Use only what's in the transcript; don't add claims, stats, or guest credentials that aren't there. Flag anything that sounds like it needs a fact check or a sponsor/affiliate disclosure.

Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
