The prompt

Turn my usability test notes into a prioritized list of issues. What was tested: [PROTOTYPE OR LIVE PRODUCT, FLOWS] Tasks given: [LIST] Participants: [NUMBER AND PROFILE - no names or personal details] Session notes: [PASTE NOTES, OBSERVATIONS, QUOTES, TASK SUCCESS PER PARTICIPANT] Steps: 1. Extract each distinct problem participants hit. Merge duplicates; keep observed behavior separate from what people said. 2. For each issue record: which participants hit it (e.g. 4 of 6), which task, and evidence (quote or observation). 3. Rate severity on this scale and explain briefly: 4 = blocks task completion; 3 = major delay or error, user recovers with difficulty; 2 = minor friction; 1 = cosmetic. 4. Suggest a likely cause (e.g. label wording, hidden control, mental-model mismatch) and a recommended fix. Mark guesses as hypotheses. 5. Note what worked well so it is not changed by accident. Return: - A summary table: Issue | Task | Frequency | Severity | Evidence | Likely cause | Recommended fix | Effort guess (S/M/L). - Task success summary per task. - Top 3 fixes to make first and why. - Open questions that need another round of testing. With small samples, do not present percentages as statistically significant; use counts. Do not invent findings that are not in my notes.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
