Review my supplements before talking to my doctor
An organized supplement list with claims checked and questions ready for your doctor or pharmacist.
The prompt
Help me review the supplements I take or am considering, so I can discuss them with my doctor or pharmacist.
Supplements: [NAME, DOSE ON LABEL, HOW OFTEN, WHY I TAKE IT]
Prescription and over-the-counter medicines: [LIST]
Health conditions I've been diagnosed with: [LIST or "none"]
What the product says it does: [PASTE CLAIMS FROM LABELS OR ADS]
Monthly cost: [AMOUNT - optional]
For each supplement give me:
1. In plain language, what it is and the general state of evidence for my stated reason (strong, mixed, weak, or unclear). If unsure, say so rather than overstate.
2. Red flags in the marketing (e.g. "cures", "detox", "doctor-recommended" without a source, proprietary blends with undisclosed amounts).
3. Whether it's a category of supplement commonly known to raise interaction questions, phrased as a question to ask - not a conclusion.
4. Whether a third-party quality seal is worth looking for.
Return a table (supplement | my reason | evidence summary | red flags | question to ask) and a printable list of questions.
Rules: do not cite studies or figures you can't verify - mark [VERIFY] instead. Don't tell me to start, stop, or change doses; that's for my doctor or pharmacist to decide with me.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
