The prompt
Help me plan real work projects that build future-ready skills and prove I can use AI to deliver results.
My role and team: [DETAILS]
Skills I want to build: [e.g. "workflow automation", "data analysis", "prompt design"]
Recurring problems or slow processes in my team: [EXAMPLES]
AI tools I am allowed to use and data rules: [TOOLS, RESTRICTIONS]
Who I want to notice the results: [manager / leadership / hiring managers elsewhere]
Time available: [HOURS PER WEEK]
Steps:
1. Propose 5 project ideas from my real work. For each: the problem, how AI would be used, the skill it builds, expected business result, effort, and risk.
2. Rank them by: visible business value, skill-building, feasibility in 4-8 weeks, and low risk to confidential data.
3. For the top 2, give a project plan: baseline to measure first, steps, a review checkpoint, and how to show results.
4. Build my portfolio strategy:
- What to capture for each project (before/after metrics, the workflow, prompts used, lessons learned).
- A one-page case study template: Problem | Approach | Result | What I would do differently.
- Where to share it: team demo, internal newsletter, performance review, and what can safely go on LinkedIn or a resume.
Rules: measure results honestly against a baseline; if a project fails, include it as a lesson. Never put confidential data, client names, or internal numbers in a public portfolio without permission.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
