The prompt

Help me write up findings from an internal quality management system audit. Standard: [ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949:2016 / AS9100D / ISO 13485 / other] Area or process audited: [e.g. "receiving inspection", "production Line 3", "calibration"] My raw audit notes: [PASTE what I observed, records sampled, people interviewed] Audit criteria beyond the standard: [our procedures, customer-specific requirements] For each issue in my notes: 1. Decide whether it is a major nonconformity (a requirement not met at all, or a systemic failure, or risk of nonconforming product reaching the customer), a minor nonconformity (an isolated lapse), or an opportunity for improvement. Explain the grading in one line. 2. Write the finding in three parts: - Requirement: the clause number and what it requires, plus our own procedure reference [ADD procedure number]. - Evidence: exactly what was seen, with record IDs, dates, and sample sizes, factual and blame-free. - Statement of nonconformity: what is missing or not done. 3. Do not write the corrective action for the auditee; note what the root cause investigation should look at. Also check my notes for: - Findings that are opinions without evidence (tell me what evidence to collect). - Several findings with the same underlying cause that should be combined. - Good practices worth recording. Return: a findings table (No. | Clause | Grade | Finding | Evidence ref.), the full write-ups, and a short summary for management review. Only cite clauses you are confident apply, and mark any you are unsure of [CHECK CLAUSE]. Do not add evidence I didn't record.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
