Run a win-back campaign for closed-lost opportunities
Segments old lost deals by loss reason and writes outreach that gives each group a real reason to talk again.
The prompt
Help me plan and write a win-back campaign for closed-lost opportunities.
Lost deals list: [PASTE: company, contact role, date lost, loss reason, competitor chosen, deal size, notes]
What has changed since: [NEW FEATURES, PRICING, INTEGRATIONS, CASE STUDIES, TEAM CHANGES]
Campaign goal: [e.g. reopen 10% as qualified opportunities this quarter]
Channels: [email / phone / LinkedIn]
Steps:
1. Group the deals by loss reason (e.g. price, timing, chose competitor, no decision, missing feature, lost champion).
2. For each group, say whether it is worth re-engaging now and why. Timing losses and "no decision" losses are often the best bets; competitor losses depend on contract length.
3. For each group worth pursuing, write a 3-touch sequence that leads with what changed, not with "checking in."
4. Suggest the right timing for competitor losses (e.g. 60-90 days before their likely renewal).
Return:
1. A table: Segment | Count | Re-engage now? | Angle | Priority.
2. The sequences, with subject lines, each email under 90 words.
3. A short call opener for each segment.
