The prompt

Help me plan the go-live of a new system for my operation. System and what it replaces: [e.g. "new WMS replacing spreadsheets", "ERP upgrade"] Processes it touches: [e.g. receiving, picking, invoicing, scheduling] Go-live date and how much downtime we can accept: [DETAILS] Users: [number, roles, shifts] Data to migrate: [e.g. item master, open orders, inventory balances, customer records] Status of testing and training so far: [WHERE WE ARE] Give me: 1. Go-live readiness criteria (a go/no-go checklist): testing passed, data validated, users trained, support in place, rollback plan ready. For each: who signs off. 2. A cutover runbook: step | owner | start time | duration | check that it worked | what to do if it fails. Include data freeze, final migration, validation counts, switch-on, and first transactions. 3. A rollback plan and the point of no return. 4. Hypercare plan for the first 2-4 weeks: floor support, issue log and triage, daily check-ins, metrics to watch (throughput, errors, backlog). 5. Contingency: manual workarounds if a key function fails on day one. 6. Communications for users, customers, and leadership before, during, and after. Flag the risks I'm most likely underestimating (data quality, untrained night shift, integrations, peak timing).

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
