The prompt
Help me find an area where I can become the internal expert people turn to.
My role and team: [DETAILS]
Questions colleagues keep asking that nobody answers well: [EXAMPLES]
Recurring problems, tools, or processes that confuse people: [EXAMPLES - e.g. "our pricing model", "the new CRM", "using AI safely with client data"]
Topics I already know more about than most: [TOPICS]
Topics I enjoy learning about: [TOPICS]
What leadership is focused on this year: [PRIORITIES]
Score each candidate niche (1-5) on:
- Demand - how often people need it.
- Business value - link to revenue, cost, risk, or leadership priorities.
- Gap - no clear owner today.
- My head start - existing knowledge and access.
- Durability - still valuable in 2-3 years, even as AI tools improve.
Return:
1. A scoring table for 4-6 candidate niches and a recommended pick.
2. A 90-day plan for the pick: what to learn, which real problems to solve first, and what to produce (e.g. a one-page guide, a FAQ, a short demo, office hours).
3. How to make the expertise visible without self-promotion that feels awkward: where to share, who to tell, how to be helpful in public channels like Teams or Slack.
4. Signs after 90 days that it is working (e.g. people tag me, my manager routes questions to me).
If none of my candidates scores well, say so and suggest what information I should gather first.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
