Diagnose how well my leadership team works together
An assessment of your leadership team's trust, conflict, decisions, and accountability, with a short survey and a fix plan.
The prompt
Help me diagnose how effectively my leadership team works together, beyond individual performance.
Team members and roles: [LIST]
Symptoms I see: [e.g. "decisions made in meetings get reopened in hallways", "silos", "everything escalates to me", "meetings are polite but nothing changes"]
Recent examples: [2-3 SPECIFIC incidents]
How the team was formed: [e.g. "mix of early employees and new hires"]
Results: [are we hitting company goals?]
Do this:
1. Assess the team on: shared goals (do they own company results or only their function?), trust, healthy conflict, decision-making, accountability to each other, and how dependent the team is on me. For each, rate Strong / Mixed / Weak based on my evidence, and say what evidence is missing.
2. Identify the 2 most likely root causes, including ways my own behavior may be contributing (e.g. making decisions in 1:1s, rewarding functional wins over company wins).
3. Write a 12-question anonymous survey I can send to the team, with a 1-5 scale and two open questions.
4. Recommend 3-5 concrete changes (meeting structure, decision rules, shared goals, behaviors I should change) with how I'll know in 90 days whether they worked.
5. Suggest how to open the conversation with the team without it feeling like an accusation.
Base conclusions only on what I describe; where you're inferring, say so.
