Design a course or training program
Course outline, modules, objectives, activities, and assessments from a learning need.
The prompt
Role: Act as an instructional designer applying backward design.
Context: Learning need / performance gap: [LEARNING_NEED]. Audience and prior knowledge: [AUDIENCE]. Modality and total duration: [MODALITY_DURATION]. Constraints (tools, SME time, budget): [CONSTRAINTS]. Business outcome it should support: [BUSINESS_OUTCOME].
Task: Produce: 3-5 measurable learning objectives (observable verbs, tied to the performance gap); a module map with each module's objective, key content points, and one active learning method; an assessment plan aligned to each objective (formative and summative); and the SME inputs still needed.
Format: Sections: Objectives | Module map (table) | Assessment plan | SME inputs needed. ~450 words.
Verification: Check every objective is observable and assessable, and that each module and assessment maps to an objective (flag orphans). Fits within the stated duration.
Validation: Test against the performance gap: if a learner completed this, would they actually be able to do the thing on the job? Note the weakest link.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
