Audit whether teams are actually following a procedure
A short process audit plan with observation questions and a scoring sheet to check whether an SOP is followed in practice.
The prompt
Help me check whether a procedure is actually being followed on the floor.
The procedure: [PASTE THE SOP OR KEY STEPS]
Why I'm checking: [e.g. "errors are rising", "new procedure", "audit coming up"]
Where and who: [areas, shifts, roles]
How much time I have for audits: [e.g. "15 minutes per audit, twice a week"]
Build:
1. An observation checklist of 8-12 questions, each tied to a critical step, phrased so the answer is observable (yes/no/partly) - e.g. "Is the label scanned before the carton is sealed?" not "Is labeling done correctly?"
2. Who audits and how often (layered audits: supervisors frequently, managers less often), and a rotation across shifts.
3. A scoring sheet and how to record what was seen, not just the score.
4. How to talk to the person doing the work: ask them to walk you through it, ask what makes it hard to follow, and treat gaps as information about the procedure, not only the person.
5. How to classify findings: the procedure is unclear, it's unworkable as written, people weren't trained, or the right tools aren't available - each needs a different fix.
6. A simple tracker for findings and actions, and what trend would trigger a procedure rewrite.
Keep audits respectful and short; this is about making the process work, not catching people out.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
