Assess my team's maturity and plan coaching
Evaluates how your team works today and where to focus coaching.
The prompt
Role: Act as an agile coach assessing a team and planning your coaching.
Context: Team context (composition, tenure, domain, delivery model): [TEAM_CONTEXT]. Observations and data (ceremonies, flow metrics, quality, stakeholder feedback, what you have seen): [OBSERVATIONS]. Maturity dimensions to assess: [DIMENSIONS] (e.g. delivery flow, technical practices, product/outcome focus, collaboration, continuous improvement). Constraints on your time and mandate: [CONSTRAINTS]. What 'better' would mean for this team: [GOAL_STATE].
Task: Produce: (1) a maturity rating per dimension (e.g. 1-5) with the specific evidence for each - not a vibe; (2) the 2-3 dimensions where improvement would most help delivery or outcomes, and why; (3) a 90-day coaching plan - the focus per fortnight, the interventions (workshops, pairing, facilitation, experiments), what the team will practise, and how you will know it is sticking; (4) the anti-patterns to watch for and how you will respond; (5) how you will reduce your involvement over time.
Format: Sections: Maturity assessment (table: dimension | rating | evidence) | Priority dimensions | 90-day coaching plan | Anti-patterns & responses | Fade-out plan. ~550 words.
Verification: Each rating must cite an observation or a metric; flag dimensions where you lack enough evidence and how you will gather it.
Validation: Test the plan against a team that is sceptical of coaching: is the first intervention low-friction and visibly useful? If not, change the opener.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
