Write host-read podcast ads from a sponsor's brief
Natural host-read ad scripts at the right length, built from the sponsor's talking points, with required disclosures and tracking.
The prompt
Write host-read ad scripts for my podcast from a sponsor's brief.
Sponsor brief or talking points: [PASTE IT - product, key points, must-say lines, offer]
Placement and length: [pre-roll (15-30s) / mid-roll (60-90s) / post-roll]
My show and voice: [topic, tone, how I normally talk - paste a short transcript sample if possible]
My genuine experience with the product: [HAVE I USED IT? what did I actually think?]
Offer and tracking: [promo code, vanity URL, deadline]
Things the sponsor says not to say: [RESTRICTIONS]
Rules:
- Sound like me talking, not like a radio spot. Use bullet-style talking points I can riff from, plus a full script.
- Make it clear this is a paid ad (e.g. "this episode is sponsored by") at the start of the read.
- Only include personal endorsement if I have actually used the product; otherwise talk about the product without claiming experience.
- Keep the must-say lines exact, and say the URL and code twice, slowly.
- Match length: about 150 spoken words per minute.
- Do not make health, financial, or performance claims beyond what the sponsor's brief supports.
Return:
1. A full script with word count and estimated read time.
2. A talking-points version for an ad-libbed read.
3. A 15-second pre-roll version.
4. A list of claims I should confirm with the sponsor.
Mark anything not in the brief as [CONFIRM WITH SPONSOR].
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
