Write a children's story or picture book
Age-appropriate stories with a gentle lesson, page-by-page text, and illustration notes.
The prompt
Write a children's story.
Age group: [0–3 / 3–5 / 5–8 / 8–12]
Main character: [WHO — animal, child, object]
Theme or lesson (optional): [e.g. sharing, bravery, starting school]
Length: [bedtime story / picture book (about 12–16 spreads) / chapter]
Personal touches: [child's name, favorite things — optional]
Write it with: simple, rhythmic language suited to the age (repetition and read-aloud fun for the youngest); a clear problem and resolution; a lesson shown through the story, not lectured; and a warm ending.
For picture books, split the text by page and add a short illustration note for each page.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
