Turn our survey or proprietary data into a research report
A data-driven content piece with headline findings, charts, and quotable stats from your own data.
The prompt
Help me turn our original data into a research report or data story that others will cite.
Data source and method: [e.g. "survey of 412 HR leaders, fielded May 2026", "anonymized usage data from 3,000 accounts"]
Results: [PASTE TABLES OR SUMMARY STATS, including sample sizes per question]
Audience: [WHO]
Our point of view: [WHAT WE EXPECT OR WANT TO EXPLORE]
Format: [full report / blog post / landing page + PDF]
Do this:
1. Pull out the 5-8 most newsworthy findings: surprising, contrary to belief, or useful for decisions. Rank them.
2. For each: a headline stat written as a quotable sentence, the supporting numbers, and what it means for the reader.
3. Flag findings with small sub-samples or weak differences that shouldn't be headlined.
4. Suggest a chart type for each finding.
5. Draft the report outline, the executive summary, and a methodology section (sample, dates, how collected, limitations).
6. Write a short press or social pitch around the top finding.
Rules: report numbers exactly as given. Don't overstate (correlation is not causation; a survey shows what people say, not what they do). Never invent data.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
