Turn my bullet points into a stakeholder update email
Converts rough bullets into a clear update that tells each stakeholder what changed, what it means for them, and what you need.
The prompt
Turn my bullet points into a professional stakeholder update.
My bullets: [PASTE NOTES]
Topic or project: [NAME]
Who receives it: [e.g. "department heads", "client sponsors", "cross-functional partners"]
What they care about most: [e.g. "timeline", "cost", "impact on their teams"]
Update cadence: [one-off / weekly / monthly]
Structure the update as:
1. Subject line that states the headline (e.g. "Launch on track; one decision needed by Friday").
2. Headline - one or two sentences on overall status.
3. What changed since last update - 3 to 5 bullets, outcomes not activity.
4. What this means for you - impact on the readers' teams, dates, or budgets.
5. Risks or issues - each with what we're doing about it.
6. What I need from you - specific asks, owners, and dates in bold. Say "Nothing needed" if so.
7. Next update - when.
Rules:
- Use only the facts in my bullets. Where a status, date, or number is missing, insert [ADD] instead of inventing one.
- Plain language; expand acronyms the readers may not know.
- Under 250 words.
Also give me a 3-sentence version I can post in Teams or Slack.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
