Set up a note-taking system that works for my classes
A note-taking method matched to each of your classes, with a template and a quick after-class review routine.
The prompt
Help me set up a note-taking system that actually helps me learn and study.
My classes and how they're taught: [e.g. "Biology - fast slides, lots of terms", "History - discussion-based", "Calculus - board problems"]
How I take notes now: [laptop, tablet, paper; what I do with them afterward]
Problems I have: [e.g. "I write everything and miss the point", "I can't keep up", "I never look at them again"]
Learning needs or accommodations: [optional, e.g. note-taker, recordings allowed]
Do this:
1. Recommend a method for each class type and explain why: Cornell notes, outline, mapping, charting (tables) for comparisons, or worked-example notes for math and science.
2. Weigh handwriting vs. typing for each class, and how to avoid distractions if typing.
3. Give me a template for my main method.
4. Show how to catch the important points: cues professors give (repetition, "this will be on the exam", what's written on the board).
5. Build a short after-class routine (10-15 minutes within 24 hours): fill gaps, write questions, summarize in 2-3 sentences.
6. Explain how to turn notes into study material later (self-quizzing from the cue column).
Return: a table (Class | Method | Why), the template, the after-class routine, and a weekly review habit. Keep it simple enough to start next class.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
