Score my task list and turn it into a prioritized action plan
Scores every task on impact, urgency, effort, and strategic fit, then turns the ranking into a dated action plan.
The prompt
Turn my task list into a prioritized action plan.
My tasks: [PASTE LIST - include deadlines, who asked, and rough effort if known]
My role and current goals: [e.g. "regional sales ops lead; Q3 goals: cut quote turnaround, launch new CRM fields"]
Time available over the period: [e.g. "about 20 focus hours over the next 2 weeks"]
Fixed deadlines or commitments: [DATES]
Weighting (optional): [e.g. "strategic fit matters most this quarter" - or "use defaults"]
Steps:
1. Score each task 1-5 on Impact (value to the business or my goals), Urgency (cost of delay), Effort (5 = quick), and Strategic fit (link to my stated goals). Use weights of 35/25/15/25 unless I gave others.
2. Explain any score you had to guess, and mark missing facts as [CONFIRM].
3. Flag tasks that unblock other work and move them up, even if their own score is middling.
4. Check the plan against my available time. If it does not fit, say how many hours over I am and which tasks fall below the line.
Return:
1. Scoring table: | Task | Impact | Urgency | Effort | Strategic fit | Weighted score | Notes |
2. Action plan: | Rank | Task | First concrete step | Target date | Do / Delegate / Defer / Drop |
3. Below the line: tasks that will not fit, and who needs to be told.
4. The top 3 to start on tomorrow morning.
Do not invent deadlines or stakeholders. The scores are a starting point; I make the final call.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
