The prompt

Help me run a sensitivity analysis on my financial model. What the model calculates: [e.g. "FY EBITDA", "12-month cash runway", "project NPV"] Base case output: [VALUE] Key drivers and base values: [LIST - e.g. "price $49", "churn 2%/month", "conversion 3%", "salary inflation 4%"] Realistic ranges for each driver: [LOW / HIGH - or ask me to suggest ranges and justify them] How drivers connect to the output: [PASTE formulas or describe the logic] Steps: 1. Flex each driver one at a time across its range, holding others at base. 2. Rank drivers by impact (a tornado-chart ordering). 3. For the top 3 drivers, calculate the break-even value where the output hits [THRESHOLD - e.g. "zero cash", "covenant limit", "target EBITDA"]. 4. Build a two-way table for the two most important drivers. 5. Note any drivers that are correlated, where one-at-a-time flexing understates risk. Return: - A ranked table: Driver | Low | High | Output at low | Output at high | Swing. - The break-even values and how far each is from today. - The two-way table. - 4-5 bullets explaining what this means for decisions and what to monitor monthly. - Instructions for building the same tables in Excel or Google Sheets (data tables or formulas). Use my numbers; if logic is unclear, ask or mark [CONFIRM] rather than assume.

Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
