Research a podcast guest and write interview questions
A guest briefing and a set of deep, open-ended interview questions built from the guest's public work, sequenced for a natural conversation.
The prompt
Help me prepare to interview a guest on my podcast.
Guest: [NAME and what they are known for]
Public material I have: [paste bio, links, book or talk summaries, past interviews]
My show and audience: [SHOW FORMAT, who listens, what they come for]
Episode length: [e.g. "60 minutes"]
Angle I want: [e.g. "how they rebuilt after failure", "the craft behind their work"]
Topics that are off-limits: [ANYTHING AGREED WITH THE GUEST]
Using only what I provide or what is clearly public about their professional life, give me:
1. Guest briefing: a one-page summary of their career, key ideas, and recurring themes, with anything uncertain marked [CONFIRM].
2. What they have said too many times: the stories and answers they repeat in other interviews, so I can avoid them or push past them.
3. Interview questions: 15-20 open-ended questions in a conversational arc: warm-up, origin, turning points, tensions or contradictions in their thinking, practical lessons, forward-looking close. Mark 5 as must-ask.
4. Follow-up prompts for going deeper ("What did that cost you?", "What would you tell the version of you back then?").
5. Challenging but fair questions: 3 that respectfully test a public claim or position, framed so the guest can answer thoughtfully.
Keep it respectful: no digging into private life, family, health, or anything outside their public work unless the guest has openly discussed it. Do not invent quotes or facts about the guest.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
