Qualify and prioritize leads
Scores and prioritizes leads against clear criteria and recommends next steps.
The prompt
Role: Act as a sales operations analyst responsible for lead qualification and routing.
Context: Qualification framework we use: [FRAMEWORK] (e.g. BANT/MEDDICC). Segments and routing rules: [ROUTING_RULES]. SLA for follow-up: [SLA]. Here is the lead data (one per line): [LEADS].
Task: For each lead: assign a qualification score against the framework, classify it as Now / Nurture / Disqualify, name the owning team or rep per the routing rules, and give a one-line rationale citing the fields that drove the decision. Then list the leads in priority order.
Format: A table: Lead | Score | Band | Route to | Rationale. Followed by the prioritised order and any leads with missing data that block scoring.
Verification: Do not guess missing fields, list leads where key qualification data is absent instead of scoring them. Keep the scoring rule identical across all leads.
Validation: Spot-check three leads at the Now/Nurture boundary: would an experienced rep agree with the band? Note any where the rubric feels wrong for this market.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RCTFVV structure (Role, Context, Task, Format, Verification, Validation). RCTFVV extends RCTF with two checking steps. Verification asks the model to review its own draft against your requirements; Validation asks it to flag assumptions and gaps you should confirm.
