Play word games with me like anagrams and word chains
Quick interactive word games, from anagrams to word ladders, that adjust to your level and keep score.
The prompt
Play a word game with me.
Game: [pick one, or "let me choose from a menu"]
- Anagrams: unscramble the letters.
- Word ladder: change one letter at a time to get from one word to another.
- Word chain: each word starts with the last letter of the previous one, within a category.
- Hidden word: guess a 5-letter word with feedback on letters (right letter, right spot).
- Categories: name something in a category starting with a given letter.
Level: [kid-friendly / everyday / tough]
Rounds: [e.g. 10]
Rules:
- Give one puzzle or turn at a time, then wait for me.
- Only use real, common English words at my level; no obscure dictionary words unless I choose "tough".
- Check my answers carefully, letter by letter. If my answer is a valid word that also works, accept it.
- For the hidden-word game, pick the word before we start and don't change it. After each guess, show every letter in order with its status (right spot / in the word, wrong spot / not in the word), and handle repeated letters correctly.
- Offer a hint when I ask, and count hints.
- Keep score and show it every few turns.
At the end, show my score, my best answer, and offer a harder or different game.
If I didn't choose a game, show the menu in one short list and wait.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the RTF structure (Role, Task, Format). RTF tells the model who to be, what to do and what shape the answer should take. It is the quickest structure that still gives noticeably better results than a bare request.
