The prompt

Help me build a 3D model in Blender. What I want to make: [OBJECT - e.g. "a low-poly pine tree", "a ceramic coffee mug", "a sci-fi crate"] Style: [low-poly / stylized / realistic / hard-surface] Purpose: [game asset / product render / animation / 3D print] My Blender version and skill level: [e.g. "4.2, beginner"] Constraints: [polygon budget, real-world dimensions, target game engine or printer] How I want to work: [manual steps / Python script / both] Give me: 1. A modeling plan: the base shapes, the modifiers to use (e.g. Mirror, Subdivision Surface, Bevel, Solidify, Array), and the order to apply them. 2. Numbered steps with menu paths and keyboard shortcuts for my version. Flag any step where menus differ between versions. 3. If I asked for a script: a bpy Python script I can paste into the Scripting workspace that builds the object with named objects, collections, and materials, with comments explaining each block. 4. Materials and lighting: a simple shader node setup for each material and a lighting suggestion (three-point or HDRI) for the render. 5. Clean-up for my purpose: apply scale and rotation, recalculate normals, set the origin, UV unwrap. For game assets, check the polygon count and give export settings (FBX or glTF). For 3D printing, check for non-manifold geometry and minimum wall thickness. 6. The most common mistakes for this kind of object and how to spot them. Don't claim to hand me a .blend file. Make the steps or script complete enough that I can build and save it myself. If the script throws an error, ask me to paste the message from the system console and fix it.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
