Generate realistic content for mockups instead of lorem ipsum
Creates believable, varied sample data for your designs, including edge cases, so mockups show how real content will look and break.
The prompt
Generate realistic sample content for my design mockups.
Screen or component: [e.g. order history list, team member table, product card grid, chat thread]
Fields needed: [LIST EACH FIELD AND ITS TYPE - e.g. name, avatar initials, status, amount in USD, date, short description]
Domain and users: [e.g. a vet clinic booking app for pet owners]
How many records: [e.g. 12]
Locales to reflect: [e.g. US only, or mixed international names and currencies]
Rules:
- Make it believable for this domain: realistic values, plausible distributions (not every status "Active"), and consistent relationships (dates in order, totals that add up).
- Include deliberate stress cases, labeled: a very long name, a one-character value, a missing optional field, a large number, an accented or non-Latin name, and a long word that cannot wrap.
- Use clearly fictional people and companies. Do not use real people's names, real email domains, or real-looking personal data such as phone numbers or IDs; use reserved examples (e.g. example.com, 555 numbers).
- Keep tone neutral; no jokes in data that stakeholders might read as real.
Return the data as a table, plus the same data as JSON for design plugins or prototypes, and a short list of what each stress case will test in my layout.
Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
