The prompt

Help me define my podcast before I record anything. This is step 1 of a 4-step podcast launch pack; later steps (season plan, show notes, promotion) can use what we decide here. Topic area: [e.g. bootstrapped SaaS, nursing careers, home cooking on a budget] Why me: [my experience, access, or angle] Who I want listening: [a specific person - job, situation, what they're struggling with] Why I'm doing this: [e.g. build authority, generate leads, community, fun] Time I can commit per week: [HOURS] Shows I like and what I'd do differently: [OPTIONAL] Work through: 1. The promise: one sentence finishing "Listeners will be able to..." Test it: is it specific enough that the target listener would choose it over the 10 shows already in their app? 2. Format options (3): e.g. solo, interview, co-host, narrative, with episode length, cadence, and the production effort for each. Recommend one that fits my weekly hours. 3. Recurring segments: 2-3 repeatable elements that make episodes feel like the same show. 4. Name options (8): clear over clever and searchable. Remind me to check availability in podcast directories, domains, social handles, and trademarks before deciding. 5. Show description (under 4,000 characters, front-load the first 150) for directories. 6. Trailer script (60-90 seconds): who it's for, what they'll get, how often, call to subscribe. Be honest if the concept is too broad or the time budget doesn't fit the format.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
