Build an AI adoption roadmap for my team or function
A phased plan for adopting AI in sales, marketing, HR, finance, legal, engineering, support, or operations — with use cases, guardrails, and metrics.
The prompt
Build an AI adoption roadmap for [FUNCTION — e.g. sales, marketing, HR, L&D, finance, legal, engineering, product, PMO, customer service, operations, procurement, analytics].
Team shape and size: [DETAILS]
Current tools and data maturity: [DETAILS]
Priority outcomes: [e.g. cycle time, quality, cost, employee time saved]
Constraints: [data residency, regulation, budget, IT limits]
Governance context: [existing AI policy, risk appetite]
Produce:
1. A shortlist of 6–8 AI use cases across the function's workflow, each with expected impact, effort, risk, and where a human stays in the loop.
2. A phased roadmap (Now / Next / Later) with entry criteria for each phase. Phase 1 must be achievable in one quarter.
3. Guardrails — data handling, human review points, prohibited uses, and disclosure to customers where relevant.
4. Enablement and change plan — training, champions, communication.
5. Metrics and a review cadence.
Then stress-test the plan as a skeptical leader and a data-protection officer: which item creates the most risk for the least return? Move or drop it and explain. Recommend capabilities, not specific vendor brands.

How this prompt is built
This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
