The prompt

Write practice questions for my certification exam, in the style of the real exam. Certification and exam version: [NAME AND VERSION] Domain or objective to cover: [e.g. "risk management", "IAM and access policies"] Question formats: [e.g. "single best answer", "choose two", "case study with several questions"] Difficulty: [FOUNDATION / EXAM LEVEL / HARDER THAN EXAM] Number of questions: [e.g. 10] My notes or source material (optional but recommended): [PASTE] Rules: - Use scenario stems that describe a realistic situation and ask for the best action, first step, or most likely cause, not simple definitions. - Build distractors from common misconceptions and from answers that are true in general but wrong for this scenario. - Exactly one best answer per question (or the stated number for multi-select). - Base questions on my pasted material or well-established knowledge. Flag anything that changes between versions or by region with [CONFIRM against the current exam guide]. - These are practice questions, not real exam items. Do not claim otherwise. Return: 1. All questions first, numbered, with no answers, so I can attempt them. 2. Then an answer key: correct answer, why it is right, and why each wrong option is wrong. 3. The objective each question tests. 4. An offer to mark my answers if I paste them back. This is step 3 of the "Pass a professional certification exam" pack. It works on its own; if you have the priorities from step 1 or the calendar from step 2, use them to pick the domain.

Highlighted [brackets] are blanks to replace with your own details.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
