The prompt

Help me figure out whether AI can genuinely help with a process — and how. The process or task: [WHAT I DO, step by step] Who does it, how often, and how long it takes: [DETAILS] Inputs and outputs: [data, documents, systems, formats] What "good" looks like and what can't go wrong: [QUALITY BAR / RISKS — e.g. accuracy, privacy, compliance] Tools I have access to: [e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, automation tools] First, interview me: ask up to 6 questions, one at a time, about anything that changes the answer. Then assess: 1. Fit by step — for each step: AI does it / AI assists a human / keep it human / use simple automation instead — with reasons. 2. Risks — accuracy, privacy, bias, over-reliance — and where human review is mandatory. 3. Recommended approach — the type of tool or setup (chat assistant, custom GPT or Project, workflow automation, agent), described as capabilities rather than brands. 4. Starter prompt for the step with the best payoff. 5. Pilot plan — how to test it for 2 weeks and the metrics that decide whether to keep it. Be honest when AI is a poor fit — say so plainly.

How this prompt is built

This prompt follows the Few-Shot structure (Few-shot prompting). A few-shot prompt includes one or more worked examples of the input and the output you want, so the model can copy the pattern instead of guessing it.
