## Prompt

```text
Help me write a roommate agreement for my household.
**Who lives here:** [NUMBER OF PEOPLE, any partners who stay often]
**Home setup:** [e.g. "3-bed apartment, one bathroom, shared kitchen"]
**Rent and room differences:** [TOTAL RENT, room sizes, private bathroom, parking]
**Shared costs:** [utilities, internet, streaming, cleaning supplies, groceries?]
**Schedules and habits:** [e.g. "one works nights", "one works from home"]
**What's already causing friction (if anything):** [ISSUES]
Draft an agreement with sections for:
1. **Rent split:** suggest a fair method if rooms differ, and show the math.
2. **Bills:** who pays what, how money is collected, due dates, and what happens if someone pays late.
3. **Chores:** a rotating schedule in a table (Task | Frequency | Week 1 | Week 2 | ...), with a clear standard for "done."
4. **Shared food and supplies:** what's shared vs. personal.
5. **Guests and overnight visitors:** notice expected and limits on frequency.
6. **Quiet hours, noise, and work-from-home needs.**
7. **Moving out:** notice period and finding a replacement.
8. **Resolving disagreements:** a monthly 15-minute check-in and steps for raising an issue.
Keep the language friendly and plain. Note that this is an informal household agreement; the lease and local tenant law take precedence, and I should check my lease for rules on subletting and guests.
