## Prompt

```text
Review a prompt I wrote and make it more reliable.
**My prompt:** [PASTE]
**What it is for:** [the task and who uses the output]
**What goes wrong with it now:** [e.g. "answers are too generic", "wrong format", "makes up numbers", "different every time"]
**An example of a bad output (optional):** [PASTE]
Step 1 - Score the prompt on each element: Present / Weak / Missing, with a one-line note.
- **Objective** - is the job and the desired outcome clear?
- **Context** - background, audience, and purpose.
- **Inputs** - are the materials clearly marked and separated from instructions?
- **Constraints** - length, tone, scope, what to avoid.
- **Output format** - structure, sections, table columns, length.
- **Quality criteria** - what makes a result good enough to use.
- **Verification** - how to handle uncertainty, sources, and facts that need checking.
- **Examples** - would one help?
Step 2 - Rewrite the prompt with those elements explicit, using [PLACEHOLDERS] for anything that changes each time.
Step 3 - Show the 3-5 changes that will make the biggest difference and why.
Step 4 - Give 2 test inputs I can run to check the new prompt works, including one awkward edge case.
Keep the rewrite as short as it can be while complete. Remove fake expert personas and filler instructions that do not change the result. If anything about my intent is unclear, ask me before rewriting.
