## Prompt

```text
Help me improve the dialogue in a scene I wrote.
**The scene:** [PASTE THE SCENE]
**Who is speaking:** [each character with age, background, and personality - e.g. "Ray, 70, retired fisherman, few words, dry humor"]
**What the scene must accomplish:** [e.g. "reveal that Ana lied about the money"]
**The relationship between them right now:** [e.g. "siblings, polite on the surface, angry underneath"]
Check for these common problems:
- Characters telling each other things they both already know, just to inform the reader.
- Everyone sounding the same (same vocabulary, sentence length, rhythm).
- Too-perfect speech: real people interrupt, dodge, answer a different question, and leave things unsaid.
- Missing subtext: characters stating feelings outright instead of showing them through what they avoid.
- Overworked dialogue tags ("she exclaimed angrily") and too many adverbs.
- Long speeches with no action or reaction between them.
Return:
1. A short diagnosis with quoted examples from my scene.
2. A one-line "voice note" for each character (how they talk, words they'd never use).
3. A revised version of the scene, keeping my plot points and as much of my wording as possible.
4. A list of the main changes you made and why, so I can apply them myself elsewhere.
